- Obtaining a US visa is the responsibility of the participants and observers. SOM can provide official invitations for participation upon request.
- English will be the official language used during SOM. If an active participant needs a translator, then the active participant is responsible for locating and paying for a translator. At the active participant’s request, SOM will assist in locating a translator, but SOM cannot guarantee success.
- A participant who is 18 years old or younger at the time of SOM is required to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian during his or her stay at SOM
- Participants who are 18 years old or younger at the time of SOM and who do not have a parent or legal guardian accompanying them at SOM must have a parent or legal guardian sign a consent form.
